Welcome! I am Christopher Michael (C.M.) Hansen, a writer, curator, and occasional artist interested in the relationship between spirituality, technology, and culture. Some topics I've covered recently include an exploration of Spiritualist art at the Lily Dale museum, an investigation into an infamous 1970s remote viewing experiment, and analysis of the Grateful Dead's continued impact in digital spaces. I am currently a PhD candidate with the University at Buffalo's department of Media Study, where I research the influence of Spiritualism on 20th century media practices. Most of my previous work appears under the name Christopher Michael, but I've recently decided to embrace my last name. Thanks for checking out my work.
