Welcome! I am Christopher Michael (C.M.) Hansen, a writer and occasional artist interested in the relationship between spirituality, technology, and culture. Some recent topics I've covered include an exploration of Spiritualist art at the Lily Dale museum, an investigation into an infamous 1970s remote viewing experiment, and an analysis of the Grateful Dead's continued influence on digital spaces. I am currently a PhD candidate with the University at Buffalo's Department of Media Study, where I research the impact of Spiritualism on 20th century literary practices.
